Burglar terrorising Tembisa residents
The Tembisa SAPS is appealing to residents to assists with information that will lead to the arrest of a suspect.
According to the Tembisa SAPS spokesperson, Constable Tebogo Sesing, a man is terrorising residents by committing house robberies and burglaries.
“It is believed the suspect recently committed a house robbery with his accomplice in Emfihlweni section, where they robbed a woman of her cellular phone and laptop. It is believed the victim was also stabbed with a sharp object. The suspects then fled the scene,” said Const Sesing.
He added that after the robbery, the suspects attempted to rob another house in the next street.
“One the suspects was apprehended by residents, but the other managed to escape. The suspect at large is known as Thamsanqa “Thami” Cannon Mhlanga. It is believed he lives in three different sections; Jiyane section, Ivory Park Extension 11 and Kaalfontein Extension 2,” he added.
