Residents urged to report crime

The Ivory Park SAPS is appealing to residents in Sector four to stop taking the law into their own hands.

According to the Ivory Park SAPS communications officer, Warrant Officer Neldah Sekgobela, two murder cases were reported at the station last month after residents assaulted and killed two victims in Kaalfontein Extension.

“The second victim was assaulted and killed. He died after being admitted to the Tembisa Hospital over the weekend. We are appealing to residents to follow the right channels when they suspect criminal activity. Residents are encouraged to report crime to the police,” said W/O Sekgobela.

The SAPS is appealing for people to come forward with any information relating to the deaths.
