Ivory Park SAPS appeals to residents to stop taking the law into their own hands after a second death at the weekend.
According to Ivory Park SAPS communications officer, Warrant Officer Neldah Sekgobela, two murder cases were reported at the station after residents assaulted and killed two people in Kaalfontein Extension.
“The second victim was assaulted and killed. He died after being admitted to Tembisa Hospital over the weekend. We appeal to residents to follow the right channels when they suspect criminal activity. Residents are encouraged to report crime to the police,” she said.
The police appeal for people to come forward with any information relating to the deaths.
