Mrs South Africa finalist visits Tembisa

One of the Mrs South Africa Beauty Pageant finalists, Mrs Tamara Booi, will visit Tembisa in the next two weeks.

According to her media manager, Mr Lunga Kupiso, Mrs Booi will grace the Voice of Tembisa studios (VOT) before heading to The Tembisan Newspaper’s offices in Kempton Park for an interview.

Born and raised in the Eastern Cape, Mrs Booi is a married mother of two, who now stays in one of the affluent suburbs next to Tembisa in Gauteng.

She is a marketing graduate from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology in Cape Town. She completed a post graduate diploma in marketing management at Varsity College in Cape Town. She also holds a Certificate in Media Studies, majoring in Television Presenting from City Varsity in Johannesburg.

She is also a founder and managing Director at TEM Events. She co-owns a marketing and branding company called Villages Seeds. She works as a radio presenter on Entertainment News for uMhlobo Wenene FM, one of the SABC’s radio stations.

The multi-talented Mrs Booi is also a writer and blogger. She has worked on a freelance bases for Soul Magazine, Parent24 and Swazi Sunday. She is now writing for iDo magazine.

She also tackles psychological issues facing women through her blog called THE WOMEN.

She runs an annual campaign called Couple’s Retreat to inspire and motivate couples in marriages, to help them realise they can rekindle their romance without having to go their separate ways. She also helps couples realise the importance of listening. The campaign hosts inspiring and fun activities throughout the year.

She was introduced to the world of modelling and beauty pageants at the tender age of six. She followed through with beauty pageants and dancing throughout her high school life.
