Local club joins international outcry

The club, affectionately known in Tembisa as TWC, is a social organisation aimed at uplifting the standard of living in Tembisa. Members do charity work, help with the development of youngsters and also create awareness about the dangers facing the community at large.

“We are touched by the barbaric act by Boko Haram and we have joined thousands of people around the world who are calling for the release of the abducted girls. What Boko Haram did is inhumane and uncalled for. We would also like to offer parents our emotional and spiritual support. We are calling on all Golf owners to join us on May 31,” said the group’s spokesperson, Mrs Avhasei Marandela.

The group will meet at King’s Palace at 10am.
