Jazzing up Tembisa
One of the best jazz music teachers in the country, Bran 'Monk' Molelekwa, will perform during the 30th anniversary of the Tembisa Bopmasters Jazz Club.
The event will be held at the Kopanong Old Age Centre next to the Moses Molelekwa Art Centre on Saturday.
According to the organiser, Mr Wonder Mabunda, the Monk Taiwa Jazz band will perform live and there will also be CD presentations from the JSU Jazz Club.
“We are calling on all Jazz lovers to grace the occasion and swing with the jazz mania. Our jazz veterans will also perform on the day,” he said.
Jazz fans are expected to dress formally while those who would prefer to be clad in traditional attire, can do so. The colour theme for the event is black, white and red.
