VoT celebrates tenth anniversary
Voice of Tembisa (VoT) celebrated its tenth anniversary with members of the Tabernacle Church of God in Christ at the church's headquarters in Ivory Park on Saturday.
The church also used the function to welcome back Bishop Stanley Mathews, who spent months in the United States attending to church matters.
The function was broadcast live on VoT. Addressing members of the church and thousands of VoT listeners, VoT station manager Mr Sonnyboy Masingi said, “We have decided to partner with the church for the benefit of the community. The partnership is developmental in approach and both parties are going to benefit through the partnership.”
He added that the partnership will also benefit more than 130 000 of the station’s listeners.

Mr Masingi said the station’s journalists will also work with the church’s magazine editor, Mr Reckson Mahori, to produce a quality product for the church and the community at large.
Mr Simon Pelego thanked the station, on behalf of the church, for partnering with them and for celebrating their anniversary at the church.
“We are happy that we are rubbing shoulders with the people behind the voices we listen to every day,” he said.
