It is believed the vehicle was hijacked at Klipfontein View.
According to the Rabie Ridge SAPS spokesperson, Constable Jacob Nhlongo, the vehicle was hijacked outside the gate at the victim’s home.
“It is claimed the vehicle was still parked outside when three suspects appeared. The victim said she was looking for a parcel inside the vehicle when the suspects pointed a firearm at her. One of the suspects fired a shot adn told the victim to hand over her car keys. They drove away with the vehicle. The victim then alerted a tracking company of the hijacking. The company began tracing the vehicle. The police were also informed,” said Const Nhlongo.
According to Constable Nhlongo, the vehicle was found parked in Kaalfontein.
“We are appealing for any help that could lead to the arrest of the suspects. We are also urging residents to not leave their vehicles outside their property. It is much safer to park your vehicle inside the yard,” he added.
