Business owner honoured

Mr Sipho Dhladhla was recently honoured for uplifting the standard of living of residents for many years.

The award was presented by the Reformed Methodist Community Church in Mashemong Section in an effort to recognise and honour distinguished community leaders in Tembisa and the surrounding areas.

Speaking during the function, the church‘s spokesperson and local businessman, Mr Victor Matsimela, congratulated Mr Dhladhla for his selfless contribution to the people of Tembisa and the country at large.

“He has been creating job opportunities for residents for more than 30 years. He has helped more than 300 people start their own companies. As a church, we are grateful that he has been the light for prosperity in the community,” Mr Matsimela told The Tembisan.

Mr Matsimela added that he started his own company in 2000 after being helped by Mr Dhladhla.

“To be honest, I am what I am today because of him. He is my mentor and I would like to see him continuing with his good work and liberating the community economically,” he said.
