POLICE managed to arrest two suspects shortly after they had robbed a victim of his cell phone and money.
The incident occurred on August 17 at about 5.15pm, spokesman for the Kempton SAPS, Capt Jethro Mtshali, said.
“It is alleged that the victim was walking along Commissioner Street when he was confronted by the suspects, who allegedly forced him to the ground and took his Nokia cell phone and the R30 cash he had on him, and then ran away,” Mtshali said.
Luckily, a sector vehicle was patrolling in the area and was seen by the victim, who then alerted the officers about what just happened.
The suspects were traced and arrested by the police.
