Police search for murder suspect
The Tembisa SAPS is looking for a suspect who shot and killed a 32-year-old man in Winnie Mandela Section recently.
It is alleged that Desmond Mapulane, from Tsenelong Section, was shot while walking along the street in Winnie Mandela Zone 10.
He later died in hospital.
The Tembisa SAPS Cluster communications director, Captain Manyadza Ralidzhivha, said they are appealing to residents with information to contact the nearest police station.
“We are also calling on residents who have information about illegal firearms in the community to report the information to the police. The community can contact us on 08600 10111 or they can SMS information to 32211. Your identity will not be revealed,” he said.
