Youth group excels
The Youth Channel Group from Tembisa won the Xitsonga Dance competition on October 4.
According to the group’s spokesperson, Mr Daniel Sebetha, the group will represent Tembisa and the country in Croatia in May next year.
“Unfortunately, as a non-profit organisation, we cannot finance the travel fare of 10 artists. We are pleading with members of the community and the business community to help us with finances. We are more than ready to make Tembisa, Ekurhuleni and the country proud by winning the competition,” he said.
