THE son of a 90-year-old man arrived home to find his father murdered, lying in a pool of blood in the toilet, with his hands and feet tied with shoelaces.

According to Kempton Park SAPS spokesman, Capt Jethro Mtshali, police were summoned to the grisly scene on Carl Street near Avion Park on Tuesday afternoon at about 3pm.

“The deceased sustained head injuries and was certified dead by paramedics. The police suspect an unknown number of suspects broke into house  and fatally wounded the old man,” Mtshali confirmed.

At the moment police are investigating a case of house robbery and murder. The only thing stolen was a MacBook Pro laptop. No one has been arrested.
