According to Kobeli Mokheseng, metro police spokesman, a 33-year-old male driving a BMW sedan, was caught doing 213km/h at 8.30am. He said he was rushing to OR Tambo International Airport.
The rest of the lawbreakers were clocked at speeds of between 162 and 188km/h.
All arrested offenders were charged with reckless and negligent driving at Olifantsfontein Police Station.
