Mother kills baby girl and dumps body in dustbin
Mother (27) allegedly kills two-month-old baby girl.

The SAPS has arrested a 27-year-old woman for allegedly killing her two-month-old daughter in Defateng Section over the weekend.
It is alleged that residents alerted police after the child disappeared last week, and her mother could not tell police officers what had happened to the child.
Police officers arrested the suspect on Saturday morning for questioning.
According to the Tembisa SAPS Cluster’s spokesperson, Captain Manyadza Ralidzhivha, the suspect told the police she killed the child and hid her body in the Winnie Mandela Informal Settlement.
Police officers took the suspect to Winnie Mandela so that she could show them where the body was.
She said she threw the child inside a pit toilet.
Police officers searched inside the toilet but could not find a body.
The suspect then changed her story, claiming she had dumped the body in a dustbin in Defateng Section.
“When the officers arrived at the new location, the found the body of a child wrapped in a blanket. We would like to thank the residents who informed the police about the disappearance of the child. We are also calling on people with problems to contact social workers or the police station, and refrain from taking the law into their own hands,” said Capt Ralidzhvha.
