According To media reports,the two men had escaped from the Tembisa Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday. The men were part of the four who had appeared for allegedly hijacking two police officers in Ravie Ridge on November 4.
They were appearing for bail at the Tembisa Magistrate’s Court on charges of attempted murder, armed robbery, hijacking, and illegal possession of firearms and ammunition when they escaped.
A case of aiding prisoners’ escape has been opened against the Gauteng policemen.
