The Ivory Park SAPS management is appealing to men in the area who usually visit Busy Corner to be aware of ladies who rob them of their property.
“It is believed the ladies pretend to drink alcohol. The women then pretend to have romantic intentions with men in order to steal their possession later. A 39-year-old man fell victim to this crime on Sunday last week. The victim allegedly enjoyed himself with a lady from Pretoria. They later drove to Ebony Park, where the victim lives. During the night, the woman woke up and stole the victim’s Toyota Corolla, including his driver’s license, cellular phone and identity document,” said Warrant Officer Neldah Sekgobela.
W/O Sekgobela said the vehicle was later recovered in Pretoria, after the victim reported the matter to the police.
