Ivory Park SAPS seeks murder suspects
A 29-year-old Pakistan man was shot and killed in Ivory Park, Extension 2, on Friday night last week.
According to the Ivory Park SAPS spokesperson, Warrant Officer Neldah Sekgobela, it is believed the victim was killed by four unknown suspects.
“The victim was running a tuck shop on September 21. It is believed the suspects also took cellular phones and an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing the scene. Two spent cartridges were found at the scene,” she said.
W/O Sekgobela added that Ivory Park police officers found the body of a 49-year-old man in Republic Road, next to Ebony Park.
“It is believed the victim had a wound to his upper body. Police officers also found stones next to him. The incident happened on Saturday night last week,” she said.
