TWO men in their thirties were arrested in Bronkhorstspruit on Friday night after the naked body of a 46-year-old man was found in his Bredell home.
Wayne Panigel’s body was found by his father in the bedroom of his house.
The suspects were arrested after they were spotted driving Panigel’s Mazda 3.
Jerry Madihlaba (33) and Moffata Madihlaba (30) briefly appeared in Kempton Park Magistrate’s Court on Monday where they faced charges of murder, housebreaking and possession of a stolen vehicle.
The case has been postponed until January 26 when the accused will apply for bail.
Capt Jethro Mtshali, Kempton Park SAPS spokesman, said officers found the victim’s clothing, cell phone, laptop and wallet in the suspects’ possession.
Mtshali said his genitals were bruised. It is believed he was strangled as there were scars around his neck.
