Woman (23) arrested for murder
A 23-year-old woman from Ivory Park, Extension 2, was arrested for allegedly stabbing and killing her boyfriend on Wednesday night last week.
It is believed the couple had an argument before the incident occurred.
It is believed the woman grabbed a knife and stabbed the victim in the upper body.
According to the Ivory Park SAPS communications officer, Warrant Officer Neldah Sekgobela, when the SAPS arrived at the scene, the officers found paramedics working on the victim, trying to save him.
The victim was, however, declared dead at the scene.
“The body was taken to the mortuary by the Germiston Forensic and Pathology unit,” she said.
W/O Sekgobela said the victim comes from Mafefe Village, in Limpopo.
The suspect was arrested and detained at the Ivory Park SAPS. She is expected to appear in the Tembisa Magistrate’s Court soon.
