POLICE are looking for the killers of a 60-year-old taxi man who was shot and killed in Norkem Park on Friday evening.
W/O Sekgobela, police spokesman, said Rapson Mbazima Ngoveni was gunned down in his car at 5.30pm on the corner of Mooirivier Drive and Maraboe Street. He was originally from Limpopo.
Sekgobela said Ngoveni was driving a grey 4×4 Trail Blazer Chevrolet when he met his untimely death. He stood at a stop street when a white Toyota Tazz stopped close to him. The occupants walked up to his vehicle and opened fire.
He died on the scene.
Police found 15 cartridges on the scene. They believe he came from a taxi meeting because of a diary found inside his car.
