FALL in love with your partner all over again this Valentine’s Day with a little help from a church, a doctor and his book.
Croydon Baptist Church is hosting a marriage seminar, free of charge, for couples on Valentine’s Day. The talk will give couples advice on how to communicate and understand each other better, based on the book The 5 Love Languages by Dr Gary Chapman.
“At the beginning of a relationship, love is exhilarating, endless and easy. Your soul mate appears to be perfect; but then reality sets in. As character flaws and annoying traits rear their ugly heads, true love begins to look like a lie.
“Making sure that the one you love feels love requires commitment, understanding and effective communication. That’s why during this seminar you will learn which ‘language’ you and your spouse speak and how to effectively communicate love through it’,” Past Warren Hoffman of Croydon Baptist Church said.
Bring back the love in your relationship by attending the seminar free of charge on Saturday between 10am and 2pm. A small lunch will be provided and child care will also be available.
