The Ivory Park SAPS is appealing for help to find a 27-year-old man, Mr Willem Mphathela Ratabana, who went missing on January 24.

According to the Ivory Park SAPS spokesperson, Warrant Officer Neldah Sekgobela, Mr Ratabana is mentally challenged.

“We are appealing for the public’s help to trace Mr Ratabana, who was last seen at his home in Duduza, next to Ivory Park, at around 8pm. He was last seen wearing navy blue tracksuit trousers, a long-sleeve black and white striped t-shirt and brown Puma shoes,” she said.

Fresh appeals came when an aunt of Mr Ratabana, Ms Ruth Ndlovu, encouraged those with information to come forward.

Ms Ndlovu said information can be given to the SAPS or delivered to Mr Ratabana’s home, at 4172 Duduza Section.

“Home is where he belongs and he needs to be here with us,” she said

Anyone with information can contact the Ivory Park SAPS’ investigating officer, Warrant Officer Zitha, on 011 990-9600.
