TWO suspects were arrested while a third escaped after a high speed chase on the P91 on Tuesday.
The two men were arrested in connection with the possession of stolen property, as the car they were driving had been stolen.
According to Sebenza SAPS spokesman, Const Sharon Tsotsotso, police patrolling the area spotted the speeding Toyota bakkie just after noon and gave chase. The bakkie was followed by a white BMW.
The bakkie was brought to a standstill near Greenstone, where the two men tried to make a run for it. Police fired a warning shot after which the men were arrested.
A third suspect in the BMW fled the scene in the car.
