A 25-year-old Birch Acres man was arrested on Tuesday morning after drugs with a street value of R15 000 was found in his flat.
Chief Supt Wilfred Kgasago, metro police spokesman, said the metro police’s equestrian unit reacted to a tip off received from concerned community members.
“Officers swooped on the suspect’s flat on Bontelsie Street at 8am where they came across 100 Ziplock bags containing the drug Cat. They also found a small amount of dagga,” Kgasago said.
The owner of the flat was arrested and charged with possession and dealing in illicit substances. The case was filed at Norkem Park SAPS.
