POLICE in Norkem Park appeal to anyone who was recently a victim of a robbery or housebreaking to come forward and identify items that were recovered during a house robbery and shoot out in Terenure on February 12.
One suspect was killed, another suffered a broken wrist, two suspects got away and a bystander was hit by a stray bullet during the incident.
Norkem police spokesman, Capt Lesibana Molokomme, said the items had been recovered in the suspects’ vehicle at the scene of the shoot out on Rooihout and Heather streets.
“This appeal goes out mostly to residents who lost property on the date of the incident,” he said.
Items include flat screen T’Vs as well as laptops.
Molokomme said he came across a picture of a woman on one of the laptops and appealed to her to come forward if the item belonged to her or if she had any information that could lead to its owner.
