Accident scene on Pomona Road covered in green

A delivery truck was covered in green after an accident on Pomona Road on Friday morning.

Three people were injured in the accident.

According to Russel Meiring of ER24 paramedics from the Johannesburg East branch arrived on the scene and found the two vehicles blocking one lane. One of the vehicles had sustained a considerable amount of damage to its right side.

The road was covered in cleaning solution the truck was transporting at the time.

Three people had sustained minor to moderate injuries. Paramedics treated and then transported the patients to nearby hospitals for further treatment.

The cause of the collision is not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
