It is believed the men drive a white Toyota Tazz.
According to the Tembisa SAPS Cluster’s communications director, Captain Manyadza Ralidzhivha, the suspects are terrorising residents in Tembisa, Olifantsfontein and Ivory Park.
He said the suspects kidnapped a man in Tshepo Section.
“They drove around with the victim before robbing him of cellular phones, cash and bank cards. They also demanded the pin numbers for the bank cards,” said Capt Ralidzhivha.
The victim was then taken to an open area next to Mvelaphanda Primary School. The suspects shot him in the buttocks and leg.
“They forced the victim into the car again and later dropped him off in Kaalfontein. The victim remained there until he received help from a person passing by. Anyone with information about the suspects can contact the SAPS,” he said.
