TWO Nigerians are facing armed robbery charges after they robbed a victim of R1 400 cash. The men used scissors as their weapon.
Kempton police spokesman, Capt Jethro Mtshali, confirmed the arrest on Sunday March 15 at about 8am after they were tracked down by the crime prevention unit.
“It is alleged the victim was at a printing services shop on West Street when he was approached by the two suspects, who threatened him with a pair of scissors and robbed him.”
The victim immediately called the police and while driving around with them, the victim spotted the suspects who were driving a silver Corsa and identified them as the culprits.
The suspects, aged 31 and 35, will appear facing charges of armed robbery.
