Traditional music festival for Tembisa

Kasi Creatives will host the Marrabenta 1st Annual Music Festival in Tembisa on May 9.

According to the founder of Kasi Creatives, Mr Junaid Mabuza, the Marrabenta music festival is about traditional African music.

“We inviting traditional musicians from all walks of life to come and join in the event. We are aiming to promote our African music and bring entertainment to all followers of this genre,” he said.

Mr Mabuza added that the event is part of spotting talent from local artists.

“We are encouraging youngsters in the community to join the event and show off their talent. This will help them interact with professional musicians and grow in the industry,” he said.

Some national, professional artists to feature in the event include Becky, Colonel and Rofila Boy among others.
