A 42-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday last week for being in possession of two VW cars suspected to have been stolen.
According to Norkem Park SAPS spokesman, Capt Lesibana Molokomme, the arrest was made at 10.30pm at the Kleinbosch complex on Muisvoël Street in Birch Acres.Two Pretoria K9 members were led to the complex by one of the car’s tracking devices and made the arrest.
“Upon arrival at the scene, they arrested the suspect who claimed he was the owner of the cars. They recovered a white VW Polo that was reported stolen in Daveyton in February and a VW Golf 7 reported stolen in January 2013 in Kwazakhele,” explained Molokomme.
