According to the Ivory Park SAPS communications officer, Warrant Officer Neldah Sekgobela, it is believed house robbers are terrorising Ivory Park residents at the night.
“Cases of house robberies are escalating in Ivory Park. We are warning the community that the suspects do not take the time to break down doors. Instead, they use use powerful tools,” she said.
W/O Sekgobela added that residents are also advised to install security gates to improve their security.
“We encourage residents to work together with the police in order to fight crime and to declare war against those criminals who are terrorising the area,” she said.
