Four young men approached a delivery vehicle on Nxiweni Brian Mazibuko Street and robbed the driver on May 13.
It is believed that the driver was sitting in the vehicle when the suspects, all in their 20s held him at gunpoint and took R3 000.
A community member saw this happening and immediately alerted the police.
Two of the men ran away and the other two were arrested on the scene.
One firearm was confiscated.
Colonel Eugene Opperman thanked the community for alerting the police.
