
Four young men approached a stationary delivery vehicle stationary on Nxiweni Brian Mazibuko Street and robbed the driver.
The incident took place on May 13
It is believed the driver was sitting in the vehicle when the suspects, all in their 20’s, held him at gunpoint and took R3 000.
A community member saw what was happening and immediately alerted the police.
Two of the men ran away and the other two were arrested at the scene.
One firearm was confiscated.
Colonel Eugene Opperman thanked the community for alerting the police.
