TWO men fled from police and metro officials on Tuesday morning following a tobacco company truck hijacking crime scene on Kweper Street, Kempton Park.
The first man escaped at about 11.17am and the second one made a run for it at about 11.53am.
Kempton SAPS and EMPD officers tried to catch the two men, who had been hiding in two separate houses on the same street, one just next to the crime scene home and the second about a house away from that one.
At about 10am, two other suspects had also tried to escape from the scene after being arrested, but were spotted by the gardener of a house next door, who alerted the police. The men were caught soon after that.
