A Glen Marais resident escaped with his life on Tuesday evening when armed robbers fired at him in front of his home.
Kempton Park SAPS spokesperson, Capt Jethro Mtshali, said the man was approached by two men in an Audi when he arrived at his home on Vaalboom Street at about 7pm.He ran away and shots were fired in his direction.

The robbers took a laptop, passport and cash from the resident’s car and fled the scene.
“The victim was not hurt during the shooting but his car was damaged by the bullets,” said Mtshali.
Police are investigating cases of armed robbery and attempted murder .
