A truck transporting laptops and computers was allegedly hijacked.
It appears that a high speed chase ensued down Pomona Road where five suspects were apprehended. It is alleged that five other suspects are on the loose.
Kempton Express was not allowed to take photographs and threatened with arrest. We were told to speak to Kempton Park SAPS’ spokesman on Monday.

Two suspects involved in a truck hijacking were wounded in a shootout with police on Maple Road in Pomona on Sunday morning.
According to reports one was wounded in the ribs and the other in the foot. Another two suspects were also apprehended.
A flying squad car was hit in the shootout.
Forensic investigators are currently on the scene. The road is still closed.
