Eye witnesses describe incident as horrific.

Eye witnesses to last night’s incident, in which two men were killed on the railway lines between Tembisa and Limindlela railway stations, told The Tembisan they believe both deceased did not hear the train approaching.

“We saw the men crossing the railway lines and they had earphones on. Suddenly the train appeared. One of the two men were crushed. The second man, also hit by the train, could be identified afterwards. It was horrific,” eye witnesses told The Tembisan.

Eye witnesses tried to assist the police on the scene in identifying the men however were refused to approach the deceased.
