TWO bogus cops were arrested on Thursday afternoon last week after pretending to be police officers and robbing a victim of R1 273.
The impersonators were found in possession of fake police appointment cards and handcuffs.
Kempton Park SAPS spokesperson, Capt Jethro Mtshali, said the two men were arrested at shortly before 7pm at Kempton Park Railway Station on Pretoria Road.
“The two suspects approached the victim at the station and allegedly demanded money from him. He said he gave them the cash.
The men face charges of impersonating police officers and robbery.
