Graduate inspires youngsters
Mr Msimango was faced with the dilemma of going to university or taking care of his sick mother. He chose the latter.
Led by his strong belief in the laws of attraction, Mr Themba Msimango, a 23-year-old who grew up in Tembisa, would like to inspire youngsters in the community to become great individuals.
Mr Msimango said the mind is a powerful tool that you can use to make your mark in the world.
He loves community development through public speaking.
After completing his matric at Zitikeni Secondary School in 2010, Mr Msimango said he was faced with the dilemma of going to university or taking care of his sick mother. He chose the latter.
“That was the best decision I ever made in my life. During the gap year in 2011, I bought a book titled Successful Presentation Skills. I fell in love with it. That was when I knew I wanted to do public relations and communications,” he said.
He then registered with the University of Johannesburg (UJ).
“From that day, I never looked back,” he added.
Mr Msimango graduated on April 14 this year and now works for Magna Carta Reputation Management Consultants, where he is making his mark in the industry.
From humble beginnings, he was promoted to the position of account executive on May 19 this year.
“I am aiming to inspire the youth in and around Tembisa to make a difference,” he said.
