A white Kia SUV was allegedly stolen from a car wash in Kelvin last Thursday.
According to the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department’s (EMPD) spokesperson, Chief Superintendent Wilfred Kgasago, EMPD’s Loss Control and Investigation Unit members traced the stolen vehicle on Friday last week.
The team managed to identify the stolen vehicle’s tracker signal on Friday last week.
“A member was able to track the car to Rabie Ridge. The stolen Kia was found abandoned in Rabie Ridge,” said Chief Supt Kgasago.
