The incident happened on Friday last week.
The Tembisa SAPS spokesperson, Constable Portia Mgijima, said a funeral parlour staff member was assisting assisting clients when three men entered the office.
“They asked to see pamphlets and then pulled out firearms. One of the men closed the main door and instructed those inside the office to not scream. The suspects tied the victims up with cable ties. They then demanded money and searched the office. The suspects also took cellular phones, money and a laptop,” she said.
Const Mgijima said the three suspects then fled the scene.
“The victims were helped by the landlord who untied them. A case of business robbery was opened at the Tembisa SAPS. We are appealing for any information that could help lead to the arrests of the three suspects,” she said.
