MURDER accused Jacques van Tonder briefly appeared in Kempton Magistrates’ Court on Friday morning where his bail was extended to September 4.

The SAA pilot is accused of shooting and killing Boksburg resident, Louis Jansen van Rensburg, on May 6 during an alleged road rage incident.

Again the 45-year-old husband and father of two girls was accompanied by his wife and a small group of people.

Previously Van Tonder appeared in court on May 22, his first appearance following a successful bail application on May 7, where the case was postponed for the first time pending further investigations, including an outstanding forensics report.
