A Nissam Navara stolen in Birch Acres on Sunday was recovered at Oakmoor Taxi Rank the following day.
According to Chief Superintendent Wilfred Kgasago, metro police spokesman, the vehicle was taken during a house robbery on Sunday evening.
The EMPD Loss Control & Investigations Unit recovered the vehicle abandoned within the taxi rank around midday on Monday.
“The metro police were able to recover the vehicle through the tracking signal which led them to Oakmoor Taxi Rank where the undamaged silver Navara was located. The recovered vehicle was taken to the police’s Van Ryn’s pound in Benoni,” he said.
