Free testing for public transport vehicles
Various testing stations in Ekurhuleni are taking part in the initiatives

THE City of Ekurhuleni is rolling out a robust plan of action to celebrate and highlight the importance of having safe and reliable public transport services throughout October, which is Transport Month.
For the entire month, free vehicle testing of all public transport vehicles and trucks with a gross vehicle mass of 3 500kg and above will be conducted at participating testing centres. The free testing will be done between 8.30am and 2.30pm on weekdays, except for Wednesdays when it will start at 9.30am. No prior booking is required.
