According to the police’s spokesperson, Capt Jethro Mtshali, Kempton SAPS detectives tracked them down and arrested them on Thursday at about 11am.
“The suspects are alleged to be employees and security officers at the same company where the robbery took place. While the detectives were conducting their investigations, one of the security officers who claimed to be the victim of the crime was alleged to have been in cahoots with his fellow colleagues,” Mtshali said.
Through their investigations, police recovered some of the stolen goods, including cellphones and hard drives.
The suspects, aged between 25 and 47, will appear in the Kempton Park Magistrate’s Court on charges of business robbery and possession of stolen goods.
