Reservoirs hit critical levels – these suburbs are affected

The Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality again urged residents and businesses to utilise water sparingly

Water levels in reservoirs supplying many Kempton Park suburbs and other areas in Ekurhuleni have reached critical levels, resulting in low water pressure.

The Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality again urged residents and businesses to utilise water sparingly as temperatures continue to soar, placing strain on water supply.

If the situation deteriorates further, the metro will implement water shedding measures and shut off supply from 10pm to 3am.
