EMPD officers uncover hijacked vehicle abandoned on R21
On verification, officers established that the vehicle had been reported hijacked in Menlo Park.
An abandoned VW Polo found on the R21 on August 20 was confirmed to have been hijacked in Menlo Park, Pretoria.
According to EMPD media liaison officer Thabiso Makgato, officers from the EMPD Northern Region Task Team discovered the white vehicle standing abandoned on the R21.

On verification, officers established that the vehicle had been reported hijacked in Menlo Park.
No arrests were made at the scene.
The case was registered at Groenkloof SAPS, while the vehicle was taken to a pound in Pretoria West and booked under SAP13 for further investigation.
