Abducted children found in open veld on Pretoria Road

Seven children abducted in Sebokeng  in Vereeniging were found in an open veld on Pretoria Road this afternoon.

According to reports  one suspect was wounded near Birchleigh Station. It could not yet be confirmed whether he was killed or not.

According to reports three of the children were taken to hospital as some of their body parts were cut off. Four suspects had allegedly been arrested.

The police and metro police were on the scene and a police helicopter assisted in finding the children.

Express is currently trying to get hold of the police for more information.

Express has changed the information on this article since it was first published. We want to make it clear the boys were not found at the JJ Maritz quarry, as this property is properly fenced. The open land where they were found belongs to the municipality.
