Two men have been arrested only hours after assaulting Pick ‘n Pay Brentwood Park security guards and firing gunshots inside the centre on Wednesday.
According to Benoni SAPS the men were stopped by security when trying to leave the Pick n Pay store just after closing time.

In CCTV footage captured on video one of the men can be seen, after punching one of the security guards to the ground, firing a gunshot into the air before he goes into some sort of a ‘rage fit’.
Benoni SAPS said it was only a matter of hours after the incident that the men were arrested.
Guns and various narcotics, including dagga, were found and seized by the Benoni Task Team.
